Yousuf Ahmed Khan and Imtiaz Ahmed Khan are son of noted Nazrul and classical singer of the Subcontinent Ustad Yaqub Ali Khan. They are still receiving training from their father to improve their skills. Elder brother Yousuf always dreamt about his younger brother Imtiaz. Imtiaz has debuted his musical career through rendering Kazi Nazrul Islam’s popular song titled Mor Priya Hobe Esho Rani.
While lending his vocal for the song Imtiaz got the opportunity to render this song along with his father. At one stage, his elder brother attached with him in the song. From that point of view, it can be said that three members of a family rendered a Nazrul song for the first time in the Subcontinent. Team Soundhacker produced and also gave direction of the arrangement. Sharif Sumon Guddi has coordinated the matter.
While talking about colourful debut of his younger son Ustad Yaqub Ali Khan said, “Debut of my younger son is going to be like my elder son in music. There is no alternative to practice. If he continues practice, he will surely success in music. Kazi Nazrul Islam was so modern which is found in his works. I am really happy about the activities of Team Soundhacker.”
Imtiaz shared his feelings by this way, “I am receiving training Nazrul song and classical music from my father since childhood. I saw my parents and brother to perform in many shows. From that point of view I was eager to follow their steps in the field of music. I never thought my dream came into true. I am grateful to them.”
Yousuf Ahmed Khan said, “I pray for my younger brother’s success.”
