Spirited Bangladesh will take on Nepal in the final of the Three Nations Cup at Dashrath Stadium in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal today. The match kicks-off at 5.45pm.
After 15 years, Bangladesh will play in the final match of a football tournament in abroad. Besides, Bangladesh observed its golden jubilee of Independence and also the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. So, if the red-and-green outfit clinch the title it will be a great contribution in the country’s football.
Marking the upcoming final, Head Coach of Bangladesh Football team Jamie Day gave rest to the booters. Thus the footballers took part in the physical exercises in the gymnasium and did swimming in the swimming pool.
Bangladesh played against Nepal on Saturday. So, Jamie Day gave his boys rest and did not take any risk before the final.
The people of Nepal observed Holi Festival on Sunday. So, yesterday was the government holiday of Nepal. But the footballers of Nepal had no recess.
