Two ministers and one state minister are expected to visit Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited (WHIL) to get an experience on the local brand’s giant initiatives to boost up the country’s hi-tech products manufacturing industry through promoting ‘Made in Bangladesh’ tagged electronics and IT devices at home and abroad.
Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal, Post and Telecommunication Minister Mustafa Jabbar and Information and Communication Technology Division’s State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak are scheduled to visit WHIL at Chandra in Gazipur on March 1, 2020.
During the visit, they will officially inaugurate the Walton’s newly built Elevator or Lift Manufacturing Factory and also will launch the maiden export of Bangladeshi made smartphone to US.
In addition, the ministers will unveil the local brand’s newly produced All-in-One PC as well as Walton’s own invented TV operating system ROS (Rezvi Operating System).
