Staff Reporter:Three auto-rickshaw passengers were killed and two others injured after a truck rammed it Naogaon’s Manda upazila early on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Jaynul Haque (36), Rafiqul Islam (35), and Ashraful Islam (29) said Aminul Haque, Sub-Inspector of Manda Police Station.
Police and witnesses said that the incident occurred near Ferry ghat Bridge area on the Rajshahi-Naogaon regional highway when a truck hit the Naogaon bound auto-rickshaw around 9:00am.
The injured have been admitted for medical treated at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH), the police said.
