UNB, Dhaka :Police on Monday night arrested three suspected criminals in connection with Sunday’s mugging incident in Khilgaon area of the capital.The arrestees were identified as Zamal, 24, Riyad, and Hazrat Ali, 26. Acting on a tip-off, a team of Khilgaon police station conducted a raid on an abandoned house at 194/6, East Goran at about 9:45 pm. Police arrested Zamal, Riyad, and Hazrat from the spot and recovered two live bombs and some bomb-making materials from their possession, said Sub-Inspector Saiful Islam of the police station.Police also recovered a motorcycle, suspected to have been used in the mugging incident from their possession.Replying to a query, SI Saiful said they were investigating whether the arrestees had any involvement in Sunday’s mugging incident.
