Three people including a father-son duo were killed in two separate lightning strikes in two villages of Tetulia upazila on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Mohammad Ali, 55, his son Anisur Rahman, 35, from Khuniagas village, and Ripon Islam, 14, son of one Mansur Alam from Chilapara village of the upazila.
In Khuniagas village, Ali and his son were cutting paddy in the field when a thunderbolt struck them leaving them severely injured.
