Visiting Zimbabwe national cricket team will start their Bangladesh campaign taking on Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) XI in a three-day practice match scheduled to begin today (Monday) at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah.
The match kicks off at 9.30 am.
Earlier, Zimbabwe arrived on Friday on a one-and-half-months tour to Bangladesh to play a complete series of three Tests and five ODI matches against their Bangladesh counterpart.
The African nation will play the first Test against Bangladesh from October 25 to 29 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. The visiting side will play their 2nd Test from November 3 to 7 at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna. The third and last Test match between the two sides
will be played at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong from November 12 to 16.
The first two ODIs of the five-match series will also be held in Chittagong on November 21 and 23 after a one-day practice match there on November 19.
The remaining three ODIs will be played on November 26, 28 and December 1 in Dhaka.
