Police recovered beheaded body of a young man from rail track at Jhaoil village in Kamarkhanda upazila on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Manik Sarkar,22, son of Lebu Sarkar of Enayetpur of the district.
Sirajganj GRP thana police said locals spotted Manik’s beheaded body on rail track under Jhaoil over-bridge on the Bangabandhu Multipurpose Bridge’s west connecting road in the morning and informed police.
The body was sent to the district hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Chandpur Correspondent says: Police recovered the body of a hotel employee from a toilet of the hotel in the bus stand of the district town on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Nasir Uddin,42, of Gulisha village of Sadar upazila of the district.
Locals said some people found the bathroom locked inside at Bhai Bhai Residential Hotel in the area for long in the morning and informed police.
Later, law enforces rushed to the spot and recovered the body after breaking open the door around 10:00am, said Bimol Sarkar, sub-inspector of Chandpur Model Police Station.
The reason behind the death could not be known immediately, said police.
UNB from Panchagarh adds: Police recovered the body of an unidentified young man from Jugikata village of Atwari upazila on Wednesday night.
Narendranath Sarkar, officer-in-charge of Atwari Police Station, said locals found the body of the young man, aged around 26, on the road of the village at night and informed police.
Later, the law enforcers recovered the body at night and sent it to hospital morgue for an autopsy.
