An anonymous letter threatening to blow up the District Judge Court reached to a public prosecutor of the court on Wednesday.
Wazed Ali Khokon, the PP, said the letter written by hand came to his hand by postal registry on Wednesday and also threatened to kill him and his family members.
In the letter, it was threatened to blow up the court if a drug accused against whom a case was filed with Fatullah Police Station is not given bail soon.
The letter bearing the address of Rashedul Islam Ratan, son of Abul Bashar hailing from Fatullah also depicts “We are not only drug dealers, but also possess firearms to blow up the building.”
Wazed Ali filed a General Dairy with Fatullah Police Station on Wednesday night and demanded proper investigation.
Officer-in-Charge of Fatullah Police Station Shah Mohammad Manjur Quader said a team of police is on the search to arrest the accused within the shortest possible time.
