Indians are also coming to Bangladesh to perform Durga Puja with their relatives. In the last two days, 20,000 passengers have been traveled to India via Benapole Checkpost.
Benapole Checkpost Immigration OC Mohsin Khan Pathan said thousands Hindu peoples of traditional religion are going to India to celebrate Durga Puja.
Manpower has been increased in Benapole police immigration for the benefit of passengers. Passengers are being traveled from morning to evening last two days.
During the last two days, about 20,000 men and women have gone to India through Benapole checkpost.
Large crowds of passengers had to wait for 5/6 hours on long lines. As a result, women and children, patients and even the elderly have become ill with Sunshine and rain under the open sky. Outside the terminal, passengers are suffering from lack of restroom.
