State Minister for Home Affairs Asaduzzaman Khan on Tuesday said the government will give rewards for assisting law enforcers in arresting petrol bomb chargers and arson attackers.
“The Home Ministry will give rewards for assistance in capturing those who cause harm to lives and valuables by arson attacks and charging petrol bombs,” he said when a delegation of the newly elected committee of Crime Reporters Association Bangladesh (Crab) met him at the Secretariat. Asked about BNP’s decision to continue the countrywide non-stop transport blockade, the junior minister observed that when a movement lacks the people’s participation, it is bound to fail.
