Bangladesh Test skipper Mominul Haque believes that their series win over Zimbabwe will inspire them ahead of the second edition of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC).
”I think winnings this Test match would inspire everyone for the next edition of ICC Test Championship as this win will help us grow confidence among us,” Mominul said after their rare away series win at Harare.
”I hope everyone in our team will understand their playing role like and would improve the process we would like to maintain that we failed to so on different occasions,” he said.
Bangladesh registered their maiden Test series win against Zimbabwe in their backyard after beating the hosts by 220 runs in the one-off Test series at Harare Sports Club on Sunday.
The one-off Test series was considered to be ICC Test Championship dress rehearsal for the tourist as they would like to better this time round after ending the opening edition at the bottom of the table.
