The police on Thursday arrested a thief from the capital’s Narinda area. He (the thief) was later handed over to Shahbagh Police Station. Police also recovered a white colour microbus (Dhaka Metro Cha-51-4121) which was stolen from the Secretariat area in the morning.
The name of the thief was not known immediately.
The police sources said, the police raided in different areas of the capital to recover the microbus. But the thief managed him to escape injuring four police officials. They have been identified as Wadud, Asis, Moinuddin, Rupon. Later, at 10am on Thursday police arrested him at Narinda.
