Entertainment Report :On the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Azha to telecast on RTV, noted director and actor Salauddin Lavlu has started to make a six-episode serial titled Bou Tumi Kar in adjacent to Dhaka last Friday. Kazi Shahedul Islam wrote story of the serial. National Film Award winner actress Shormimala is playing the title role in the Eid serial. Under Lavlu’s direction Shormimala is working for the first time. Raisul Islam Asad, Mir Sabbir, Shamima Tusty, Shyamal Mawla, Labonno Liza and Himi are also acting in different roles in the serial according to the demand of the story of the serial. Despite having scorching heat the performers are taking part in shooting cordially. While talking about making the Eid serial director Salauddin lavlu said, “The actors who are acting in this serial everybody is working perfectly according to their roles. Under my direction, Shormimala, Shyamal Mawla and Himi are working for the first time. They are also doing well specially Shormimala is acting tremendously well in the lead role in the serial. To get all the answers of Bou Tumi Kar, viewers have to wait till telecasting its last episode in Eid. I hope viewers will not miss to watch the serial.”While sharing his feelings to work under Lavlu’s direction National Film Award winner noted actor Raisul Islam Asad said, “As a director, Lavlu is really outstanding. Earlier I had worked under his direction for several times. I can remember the name of his directed Gohorgachhi. He also made it sincerely and nicely. I hope viewers will enjoy Bou Tumi Kar.”While talking about playing in the title role actress Shormimala told this correspondent, “In fact, I became bored to work in same type of works one after another. For this reason, I was losing concentration from acting. After working with Lavlu Bhai I really got something new. He gives direction to the point, which impressed me a lot. In fact, I am getting relief to work under his direction.”Salauddin Lavlu also informed that besides this serial, he will make more plays on the occasion of coming Eid. He will also act in a play under Himel Ashraf’s direction.
