One of the enlightened stars in the music arena of the country Syed Abdul Hadi has passed 56 years of his career. He will step into 75 on July 1. To honour this legendary singer and also to celebrate his 56 years journey in the field of music, cultural journalist Ovi Moinuddin has taken an initiative. As a part of the initiative, a song has composed to show him honour where a life-sketch of Syed Hadi is portrayed. Omar Faruk wrote lyrics of the song.
The song was recorded at noted music composer Farid Ahmed’s studio, Resh in the city’s New Eskaton area after Iftar on June 22. Farid Ahmed composed its music.
Fahmida Nabi, Dhruba Guha, Champa Bonik, Muhin and Sabrin rendered the song titled Tumi chhuyechho nilimar sob nil, gaan-er akashey hoyechho shonkhochil, keu chute pareni tomai kokhono, rong chhoriye bhubonta korechho rongin, tomar konthey dhwonito hoyechhe – O aamar Bangladesh priyo jonmobhumi, jonmodine tai agonito bhokter shuvechchha nio tumi. During the recording of the song Syed Abdul Hadi was also present.
While sharing his feelings in this regard he told this correspondent, “It is really an extraordinary feeling. The person who has taken this initiative he is like as my brother, my children. I am really impressed with his love and honour. Everybody who rendered the song I am really pleased with them. I am really speechless now. Lyrics and music composition of the song are really nice.”
Popular singer Fahmida Nabi shared her feelings by this way, “I am really feeling well that I got the scope to render a song to focus on Hadi Chacha. I wish him advance for his birthday. I am also showing respect to his long time music career.”
Singer Dhruba Guha said, “It was my first introducing with Hadi Sir on that day. I never thought I would get the opportunity to render any song for him. I give special thanks to Ovi Moinuddin in this regard.”
Other singers of the song Champa Banik, Muhin and Sabrin were also delighted in this regard to render a song for Syed Hadi.
