Team Director of Bangladesh Cricket team Khaled Mahmud Sujon said, ” There is no problem in our players’ quality. I don’t want to explain about our win or defeat. I want that our players will perform well. Our players should play according to our plan. Our players have to make a good start and do well in our training session.”
Members of Bangladesh Cricket team took part in their practice sessions at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Monday. The players are eager to do well at home after they were winless for 27 months at their home ground.
The first Test match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will be held at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram from May 15 to May 19. Before the first Test match, Bangladesh Cricket team will get six days to attend in the coaching camp. The first Test between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka is the first Test for Bangladesh at the home ground in this year. Bangladesh tasted four defeats among the last five Test matches.
Sujon said, ” The cricketers should take their best preparation and might be work hard before the first Test. The mindset is very much important for the cricketers. Our players should do well in all the five days. They have to build partnership. I believe that players will do well.”
During the coronavirus pandemic, Bangladesh won against Zimbabwe at the home ground. After that, Bangladesh cricketers failed to earn any victory at the home ground. Bangladesh Cricket team are winless for 27 months at their home soil. Can Bangladesh come out from their win-less run.
