Alliance Française de Dhaka (AFD) hosted a theatrical performance by Jean-Paul Sermadiras and Didier Galas titled Sur le champ on Wednesday evening at Auditorium Nouvelle Vague of AFD in the capital’s Dhanmondi area, says a press release. Sur le champ adapts a very ancient history in India where a prince is afflicted by war that destroys his family and his people. He does not know what to do or think. In an empty sand space, there are two clowns – they wonder about the meaning of life,
the reality of happiness, and the ability to act in our
present world. Didier Galas and Jean Paul Sermadiras make coexist deep spiritual questions with acting
on physicality and humour.
