Couple ‘commits suicide’ in Sylhet

Sylhet Correspondent :A young couple reportedly committed suicide by hanging themselves with the same rope in 19 no Fatehpur union Parishad of Goainghat upazila yesterday morning.The deceased were identified as Sagor Bhowmik, 18, son of Sunil Bhowmik and Suroti Munda, daughter of Montu Munda, resident of the same union parishad.Tea garden workers found the bodies of the duo hanging from a jackfruit tree around 6am.On information, police went to the spot and recovered the bodies.Family sources said Suroti and Sagor...
