The water pollution in the Buriganga River still remains at the same level despite several initiatives taken by the concerned Ministries in the recent days. Several government decisions have been made to revive the condition of Buriganga among which the Tannery shifting to Savar area and establishing Effluent Treatment Plant [ETP] can be mentioned, but none of these projects have been implemented yet.
