Tensions ran high in besieged Gaza strip following the killing of 26 Palestinians, including children and women, in Israeli air raids on Monday. Israel, however, claimed that the strikes were in retaliation to the rockets fired by the Hamas.
We know killing of Palestinians or torturing them, no matter even if they are women or children, is no problem for Israel’s Prime Minister already condemned for committing genocide of Palestinian Muslims. We have been warning the US about Netanyahu as the Jewish Hitlar. It is not unknown that he has been pampered by the US government to be used against the Muslim countries of Middle East. Recently Israel attacked the nuclear facility in Iran. The Muslim countries have the resources and clout to punish Israel but they will remain divided to be destroyed and humiliated.
Saturday’s overnight clashes on Laylat al-Qadr, worst since 2017, was instigated when Jewish settlers again made an attempt to take over Palestinian homes in east Jerusalem.
Al Aqsa Mosque is the third holiest place in Islam which is also revered by Jews. But Israeli police on Monday conducted an abrupt operation firing rubber bullets, exploding stun grenades and lobbing tear gas canisters leaving at least 300 Palestinians injured.
In this backdrop, the UN Security Council held an urgent meeting Tuesday on the unrest in Jerusalem as world leaders urged the de-escalation of the tensions.
Gaza is definitely occupied by Israel keeping Muslims there completely at it mercy.
It also has made difficult for the UN to resolve the root cause of the conflict because of US veto.
Besides, the disunity among the Muslim countries and failure of the (Organisation of Islamic Cooperation) OIC are other major reasons behind the prolonged sufferings of Palestinians.
It is shameless showing no sense of dignity as Muslims that despite freely killing Muslims some Muslim countries under inducements of the US have established diplomatic relations with Israel.
Blind support for Israel’s brutalities against the Muslims came during Trump’s tenure when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu started full-scale construction of settlements in the West Bank. As a result, the US opened its first permanent military base in Israel in September 2017. In continuation of US policy, Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel on 6 December 2017.
At the same time, Trump in May 2018 withdrew the US from the Iran nuclear deal and renewed sanctions on Iran. From the very beginning, the US policy had encouraged Israel to fearlessly occupy Palestine lands and put control over the surrounding Muslim countries .Even Iran is anti-American. Israel is seen as American face of anti-Muslim force in the Middle East. America under new administration must reassess its favour to Israel.
