The strike enforced by transport owners and workers demanding withdrawal of toll on the first Bangladesh-China Friendship Bridge over Buriganga continued for the fifth consecutive day on Wednesday forcing hundreds of vehicles including passenger buses, goods-laden trucks and private cars to remain stranded on both sides of the bridge at Postogola and Keraniganj [right].
