The second VAT fair has started in the port city to popularize online VAT registration, return submission and EFD. The two-day fair started on Wednesday (February 10) at six divisional offices under the Customs Excise and VAT Commissionerate, Chittagong. The offices are Customs Excise and VAT Agrabad, Chandgaon, Rangamati, Khagrachhari, Patiya, Cox’s Bazar and Bandarban divisions. Chattogram VAT Commissioner Mohammad Akbar Hossain inaugurated the fair at the old customs building on Strand Road in the port city. Director of Chittagong Chamber Wahid Siraj Chowdhury Swapan was the special guest.
