The water quality of River Buriganga that flows across Dhaka has improved following relocation of tanneries to Savar from the capital’s Hazaribagh area and thanks to this year’s heavy rainfall. The aerial photo taken on Tuesday from Buriganga Bridge shows the colour of the river water turns natural though the river had been going bleak for years due to untreated industrial waste released into it.
