The city`s Gulshan-Banani lake becomes highly polluted due to dumping of household waste with spoiling scenic beauty of the area. There isn`t a single day when sewage and household wastes do not flow into the lake while huge quantities of wastes have already been blocked the water flow under culvert bridge.
