Thakurgaon and Tangail districts won their respective final round matches of the JFA U-14 Women’s Football Championship held on Saturday at Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur.
In the day’s first match, Thakurgaon district blanked Magura district by 3-0 goals while Tangail district drubbed Rajshahi district by 4-0 goals in the day’s second match.
Meanwhile, both the semifinals of the championship will be held today (Sunday) at the same venue.
