BSS, Benapole :The Benapole customs authority has sold 49 smuggled Indian cattle, seized by the BGB recently, at an auction held here on Tuesday.The seized cattle were sold at Taka 18.33 lakh at the auction.Subeder Gias Uddin of BGB Benapole camp said based on secret information,the BGB personnel raided the frontier areas of Benapole and Sarsa upazila on Sunday and Monday and seized the cattle.However, the smugglers managed to flee the scene, sensing the presence of the BGB men.The seized...
