“Thailand Week 2016” from 16 – 19 March 2016 at the International Convention City Bashundhara concludes today (Saturday). The four-day event jointly organized by The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, Royal Thai Government and The Royal Thai Embassy in Dhaka.
The four days event in Dhaka was two parts. Trade days consisted of Business Matching session on 16 & 17 March 2016 and on 18 & 19 March 2016. The exhibition opened to the public.
This Event was a distinctive effort of the Royal Thai Government to expand the opportunities to the business communities of both countries, which will consequently strengthen the economical relation and increase the trade substantially.
There are 39 Thai exhibitors who are featuring their 5 categories of products that include Garments & Fashion Accessories, Food & Beverages, Heavy Industry, Household & Kitchenware Products etc at this event.
The Major Activity is One to One Meeting. We welcomed all Bangladeshi Importers and Businessmen to visit the fair and enjoy the meeting with Thai Exporters.
We had one stop support desk at DITP where the visitor are be able to get information like list of International Trade Fair in Thailand, name list of Thai Exporters or Manufacturers besides the exporters who will come here for sourcing suitable partners.
There was a stage at the venue where Thai cultural show will take place along with cooking demonstration of different cuisine.
Commerce Minister, Tofail Ahmed, MP has inaugurated the occasion as chief guest. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Charge d’ Affaires a.i., Royal Thai Embassy and Suwimol Tilokruangchai, Executive Director and Consul (Commercial) were also present.
