A two-member delegation, led by Professor Dr Prapin Wilairat of Mahidol University of Thailand, called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr A A M S Arefin Siddique on Wednesday at the latter’s office.
Other team member was Assistant Professor Dr Duangjai Nacapricha. Chairperson of the Department of Chemistry of DU Professor Dr Nilufar Nahar was present on the occasion.
During the meeting, they discussed various bilateral issues including possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs by the University of Dhaka and Mahidol University of Thailand.
They also exchanged views and appraised each other of academic activities of their respective institution.
Earlier, Thai Professor Dr Prapin Wilairat delivered the key-note speech in a day-long seminar on “Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS)” organized by the Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP) of the Department of Chemistry of Dhaka University at Mukarram Hussain Khundker Biggan Bhaban.
