Chittagong Bureau :
Joint President of Board of Trade of Thailand , South Asia & Africa Affairs Committee and President of Thai-Bangladesh Council Mr. Pant Chayer called on President of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce &Industry (CCCI) at latter’s office yesterday.
During the courtesy call, they exchanged views on promotion of trade and commerce between two neighbouring countries.
The leaders of Bangladesh and Thailnad discussed the matters on bilateral issues and mutual interests. They also emphasized the need of intensifying the existing friendly relations of Bangladesh and Thailand.
Chitagong Chamber president expressed gratitude to the visting Thai trade leader for participating the Chittagong International Trade Fair for the last 9 years as Partner country.
Thai trade leader also invited to participate the inaugural ceremony of the World Trade centre in Chittagong in next month. Thai trade leader expressed their desire to join the WTO inaugural function.
