Bangladesh and Thailand have signed a Confidential Memorandum of Understanding (CMoU) on civil aviation that will allow Bangladeshi flight engineers and crews to work in Thailand.
The CMoU was signed between Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) and Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) at a meeting held in Bangkok on August 25 last, said a press release.
CAAB Member (Operation and Planning) Air Commodore M Mostafizur Rahman and CAAT Director General Dr Chula Sukmanop led their respective sides at the meeting.
Under the CMoU, the CAAT will recognise licenses of Bangladeshi flight crew, flight engineer, aircraft maintenance engineer and air traffic controllers to let them work in Thailand.
During the meeting, both the civil aviation authorities regularized seven more air frequency between Bangladesh and Thailand.
