Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, MP said that the subversive materials in the textbooks were being inquired into.
“The books will soon be brought in line with the spirit of the Liberation War, “he said.
Inu, also president of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) said this yesterday while speaking as the chief guest, at a protest meeting organized by the city unit of his party at the Colonel Taher auditorium.
The minister blamed the anti-Liberation forces lurking inside the administration for the disaster.
“It is a conspiracy of the Razakars, militants and their patrons, who were still surviving in our midst under different garbs,” he said. “They must be eliminated and uprooted, “he said.
The meeting was chaired by the coordinator of Dhaka city JSD, Mir Hossain Akhter. Others who spoke at the meeting included general secretary of the party, Shirin Akhter, MP, member of the party presidium, Prof. Dr Anwar Hossain and other JSD central and city leaders.
