An exclusive food house named Tests Tease Restaurant was inaugurated in the port city on Wednesday at Cheragi pahar area in city on Wednesday .
City Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin formally inaugurated the operation of the food house as Chief Guest. Among others, Editor of the Dainik Suphrabat Bangladesh Rusho Mahmud, Joint Editor of Protom Alo Biswajit Chowdhury, Associate Editor of Suprabhat Bangladesh M Nasirul Hoque, Principal of Govt Commerce College Prof Md Ayub Miah, Panel Mayor Chowdhury Hasan Mahmud Hasni, councilors Hasan Murad Biplob and Shaibal Das summon were present on the occasion as invited guests.
The chief guest in his brief deliverations urges the management of the food house to serve the hygienic and delicious foods to the consumers. Owner of the food hosue Omar Azam also delivered address of welcome in the inaugural session.
Man found dead : An elderly man was found dead in Uttar Bandar village of Anwara upazila in Chittagongon on Tuesday.
Police recovered the body of Rajjak Nur, 60, of Boirag union, from a land and sent it to Chittagong Medical College morgue for an autopsy.
His family claimed that Rajjak was killed in an attack by rivals centring a land dispute. Police said they found two small injury marks on the deceased’s forehead. No case was filed till last evening.
