UNB, Gazipur :
An alleged terrorist was killed in a reported gunfight with members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Haidarabad area of the city early Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Mamun, a resident of Tongi area.
Officer-in-charge of Joydebpur Police Station Khandakar Rezaul Hasan said the elite force took the
bullet injured Mamun to Gazipur Shahid Tajuddin Medical College Hospital where on-duty doctors declared Mamun dead early in the morning. The elite force also recovered a pistol from his possession. No details of the gunfight could be availed immediately from RAB.
