Chittagong: Chittagong district police arrested a district listed terrorist with arms and ammunitions in a drive at Kutivilla union of Lohagara upazila early yesterday..
The arrested youth was identified as Mir Kashem alias Samrat ,29, hailing from the same area.
Acting on a secret information, a team of Lohagara thana police raided at Siqdarpara area under Kutivilla union of Lohagara upazila at 4 am yesterday and arrested the youth with one country made light gun and four cartridges and five knives from his possession.
Mohammad Shahjahan, Officer in Charge of Lohagara thana said a total of five cases including extortions were pending against him with Lohagara thana in this connection.
A case was filed with Lohagara thana in this connection.
