The influential leader of the party and vice president of Awami league, Chattogram city unit Khorshed Alam Sujan called upon the law enforcers to stop the mobile court drives in the clothes markets before the Eid-Ul- Fitr.
He urged the administration to suspend drives of the lawmakers through a press statement sent to different medias on Thursday.
The statement was told that during the mobile court drives, clothes, cosmetics worth about cores of taka are being seized by the law enforcers .
As a result , the shop owners will face huge loss, on the other hand consumers will be deprieved of choiceable clothes and cosmetics before the eid festival. Sujon said for interest of the Chattogram dwellers, the administratin should take a wise decision to avoid disadvantages fo the city dwellers and called upon for suspending the mobile court campaign before eid festival.
He also urges the business community in cloth markets to pay VAT and other taxes properly.
