Ten more killed in road crashes

At least 10 more persons were killed and several others injured in separate road crashes across the country on Saturday.
In Chandpur, at least three persons, including a man and his son, were killed and two others critically injured when a truck struck into a CNG run auto-rickshaw in Haziganj upazila of Chandpur district on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Elem Hossain, 45, his son Ekram Hossain, 22, and Abu Sufian, 40.
Farid Ahmed, Deputy Director of Chandpur Fire Service and Civil Defence Station said that they recovered all the three bodies from Bakila at 4am.
Alamgir Hossain, Office In-Charge (OC) of Haziganj Police Station confirmed the media that the bodies have been kept in a hospital morgue and the wounded were admitted to hospital.
 In Mymensingh, two motorcyclists died in a road accident in Muktagachha of Mymensingh district on Monday.
 Police and local people said that the two bike riders were critically injured following head-on collision between two motorcycles. They were rescued and sent to Muktagachha Upazila Health Complex and then to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital where the duty doctor declared them dead.
In Gaibandha, a garment trader named Azad Mia (55) was killed in a road accident when a motorbike rammed him in Fulchhari Upazila of Gaibandha district.

In Bandarban, two youths were killed in a road accident near the Lalbridge in the Bandarban district town on Sunday night. Deceased Sumon Tonchongya, 24, and Abhijit Tonchongya, 18, were the residents in Battoli area of Roangchhari upazila.
Being informed, fire fighters rushed to the scene and took them to Bandarban Sadar Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared the duo dead. Sadar Police Station OC Md Shahidul Islam said the accident occurred around 9:30pm as the rider lost control over steering.
In Dhaka, a man died and another got injured when a bus hit another bus from the backside in Jatrabari area of Dhaka city on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Md Selim, 22,
Qazi Wazed Mia, Officer-in-Charge of Jatrabari Police Station, told the media that after the tragic incident Selim was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the doctors declared him dead around 2:00pm, The Daily Star. The injured person, Jewel, 30, is under treatment at the DMCH.
In Patuakhali, a seven years old girl named Rabeya was killed in a road accident in Dashmina upazila of Patuakhali district. Rabeya was the daughter of Jashim Uddin, resident of Dashmina union.
On Monday, the accident occurred at the Pavakkhola area on the Dashmina-Kalaiya road of upazila sadar.
Datmina Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ratan Krishnan Roy Chowdhury told the accident media.
In Natore, Farah Hossain, 25, was killed in a clash between a truck and the CNG-operated three-wheeler in Walia area of Lalpur upazila of Natore. Two more persons were injured in the accident.
The accident took place on the Natore-Lalpur Road on Sunday night.
The deceased was identified as Faruq Hossain, son of Amir Ali of Panikamara village under Bagha upazila of Rajshahi. Lalpur Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Md. Nazrul Islam confirmed the news media.
