Business Desk :Rotary Club of Ramna honoured 10 eminent, talented and successful women in their respective fields at a ceremony at the Patio Hall of Gulshan Club in the city on Tuesday.Rotarian Taleya Rehman, president of Rotary Club of Ramna, presided over it, says a press release.The award winners were Zobera Rahman Linu (sports), Syeda Rizwana Hasan (environment), Kona Reza (promoting traditional food as innovative entrepreneur), Sara Zaker (culture), Tasmima Hossain (for upholding women’s issue through “Anannya” magazine, Prof Dr Parveen Fatima (for introducing infertility treatment), Prof Dr Farzana Islam (for being the first woman vice-chancellor), Salma Khan for her contribution to development of women, Prof Emeritus Dr Sultana S Zaman (for her lifelong service to the disabled and Rotarian DG Safina Rahman (for being the first woman rotary district governor).
