Grameenphone (GP) and Telenor are going to launch health services for their customers in the country tomorrow at hotel Radisson Blu.
Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammed Nasim will inaugurate the programme as the chief guest while State Minister for Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Tarana Halim will present, said a press release.
The initiative of Telenor and GP aimed to build greater partnerships with the government and non-governmental organisations to serve healthcare services through mobile phones.
The service will provide the subscribers complete health details from reputed doctors at anytime in a day and also prescribe for medicine from professional doctors.
