Tejgaon Cricket Academy registered a massive 108 run victory over Dhanmondi Cricket Academy in the Third Division Cricket League held on Saturday at city club ground I in the city.
Opted to bat first after winning the toss, Tejgaon were all out for 241 in 47.3 overs with Chan top making 66 runs. Shaheen Alam grabbed four wickets conceding 62 runs while Towfiqul claimed three wickets for 39.
In reply, Dhanmondi Cricket Academy found the chase stiff and cheaply dismissed at a paltry total of 133 in 31 overs with Rony scoring 20 runs. Mahmudul Hasan caused the major damage as he grabbed five Dhanmondi’s wickets giving away 35 runs while Bipul Kumar and Musarat Shafakat shared two wickets apiece.
