Government officials and development activists at a function here have laid importance on ensuring adolescent- friendly congenial atmosphere at educational institutions to flourish latent talents of teenagers.
They came up with the view at the concluding function of a divisional level “Teenagers’ Conference- 2018” held at Police Community Hall on Friday afternoon, reports BSS.
With assistance of the Polli Karma Sohayok Foundation (PKSF) and Rangpur divisional administration, Gaibandha unit of SKS Foundation organised the event with the theme of ‘Beautiful Future with Talent and Conscience’.
Eighty selected school and college level male and female students from all over Rangpur division participated in competitive examinations on different subjects, including general knowledge, on the occasion.
Later, crests, certificates and educational inputs were distributed to 10 winner teenagers for their extra ordinary performance in the competitive examinations.
Additional Divisional Commissioner (Revenue) Md Anwar Hossain attended the concluding function and distributed prizes to the winners as the chief guest.
With Chief Executive of SKS Foundation Rasel Ahmed Litan in the chair, District Children Affairs Officer Imran Mian, District Women Affairs Officer Kawser Jahan and Manager of PKSF Suman Chowdhury also addressed the function.
