Police have recovered the body of a teenager from Titli Charpara village of Gaokandia union in Netrokona’s Durgapur.
The deceased was identified as Masum Mia (18), of the same village.
On Monday, teenager Md. Nabi Mia had a dispute with Masum.
That evening Nabi with some of his companions killed Masum and dumped his body in Titli beel.
Fishermen found the body on Tuesday morning as they went fishing in the beel.
On information police recovered the body and sent it to Netrokona Modern Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Police have arrested Nabi Mia in connection to the murder.
Durgapur Police Station officer-in-Charge (OC) Shahnur A. Alam said Masum was killed centering a game. Later dumped in the river water.
One person involved in this case was arrested. Attempts are being made to arrest the rest, he added.
