Nazmul Molla, a teen aged (14) son of one Jahangir Molla of village Depara within Gotapara Union under Sadar Upazila in Bagerhat district met his tragic end when he was clipped with a fishing net at Keshabpur sluice gate (within the same Union) on Thursday. At the same time 4 others were injured.
It is reported that on Wednesday at night Nazmul Molla and 4 others of the village went to the river Bhairab by a trawler to catch fish from there. After catching fish they were returning home by the same trawler in the following morning and when the trawler was crossing the sluice gate it collided with the gate due to the strong current and consequently, it was capsised in the canal.
