A teenage girl was found dead at Sonargaon upazila in Narayanganj. The body filled in a sack was recovered from Kaikartek area of the upazila on Friday morning.
The deceased nearly aged 12-year-old could not be identified immediately.
She was in blue-sky colour long-shirt and salwar.

Injury marks were found at her throat and the legs and hands were tied up with rope. Miscreants might have strangled the girl to death and dumped the body near the bridge of Kaikartek, police primarily believed.
Md Jabbar, Officer-in-Charge (OC-Operation) of Sonargaon Police Station, confirmed the news.
The body was sent to Narayanganj General Hospital for autopsy, he added.
