Keraniganj, UNB : A teenage boy was stabbed to death following an altercation over playing cricket at Mirerbagh in South Keraniganj Saturday morning. The deceased was identified as Maksud 16, a resident of the area. Police said Maksud locked into altercation with another boy Jony over playing cricket at Balur math of the area Friday afternoon. As a sequel to the altercation, Jony stabbed Maksud indiscriminately this (Saturday) morning, leaving him critically injured. He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries around 1pm. Jony went into hiding after the incident. Zamal Uddin Mir, officer-in-charge of South Keraniganj Police station, confirmed the incident.
