Police recovered the throat-slit body of a minor girl from a potato field in Shibganj upazila of Bogura on Thursday morning.
The victim girl identified as Sadia was the daughter of one Shahinur Rahman, an inhabitant of Talibpur Purbopara village in the upazila.
Meanwhile, police also arrested the schoolboy named Naim Hossain, 14, on the charge of killing minor girl after rape.
Family sources said that Sadia had been missing since Wednesday evening.
Later, locals spotted the body in the potato field

yesterday morning and informed police.
Police claimed that the accused schoolboy Naim Hossain slit his minor cousin’s throat with a knife after rape. Naim confessed it to police after his arrest on Thursday night, police official said.
Mokamtala police outpost in-charge Sonatan Chandra confirmed the matter to the media that police recovered the body from the spot and sent it to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital morgue.
