Mafizuddin, officer-in-charge of Sarail Police Station, said Tarek, Shakib and Shihab locked into an
altercation over gambling in a village fair. At one stage, Tarek hit Shakib with a sharp weapon, leaving him dead on the spot. On information, police recovered the body and arrested Tarek in this connection.
