Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested a teenage boy in Sitakunda upazila on Wednesday for his alleged involvement in question paper leakage and for cheating examinees making exam results.
The arrestee is Arif Hossain Shawon, 18, son of Nizam Uddin of Ghoramara Juramtal village in the upazila. He appeared at this year’s Secondary School Certificate examination.
On information, a Rab team conducted a drive at Barakumira Juramtal Bazar around 1:20pm and arrested Shawon while he was providing today’s HSC question papers.
Rab members also seized a tab and two mobile phone sets from his possession, said a Rab-7 press release.
It was Shawon was involved in a gang which cheats SSC and HSC examinees making fake results.
