Pakistan Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan on Thursday said that the Pakistan cricket team will not travel to India for the upcoming ICC World Twenty20 until Indian government gives assurance on the security front.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday relocated the March 19 game from Dharamsala to Kolkata citing security reasons in Himachal Pradesh. Despite the venue being moved to a safer location, the Pakistan interior minister said that they are happy that venue has been changed but are not satisfied by the India’s response on security.
