Team ‘Potter’ from Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Dhaka University (DU) has won the CIMA Global Business Challenge.
Money and management are tough to combine and CIMA Global Business Challenge is doing just that for young people all around the world.
With the participation of nearly 180 teams from Bangladesh alone, the case-solving competition attempts to bring out the financial and management skills of undergraduates and put them to the test on a global platform.
This year the Bangladesh regional finals were held at Lakeshore Hotel, Dhaka and the teams participating were of rather fictitious and humorous nature.
Cases in point: Team Hufflepuff, Team Potter and Team LOL from Institute of Business Administration, Dhaka University; and Team Runners-Up (the runners-up last year) from Bangladesh University of Professionals.
