With the day’s feat, Team BJMC advanced to the 7th slot in the 12-team league toppling Sheikh Russel KC securing 15 points from same number of matches while the tradition black and whites Mohammedan SC remained at 10th place with 14 points from 15 encounters.
After a barren first half, Towhidul Islam Shabuz put Mohammedan SC ahead in the 69th minute by a placing shot beating opponent defender and custodian (1-0) while Guinean forward Ismael Bangoura doubled the margin from a penalty in the 78th minute (2-0).
Nigerian striker Eleta Kingsley reduced the margin for Team BJMC by a cool shot from goal mouth melee (2-1) while Nigerian midfielder Samson Eliasu equalized the margin by an angular header silencing Mohammedans fans (2-2).
Brother Union Club will play Arambagh KS at 3:30 pm while Rahmatganj MFS will face Uttar Baridhara Club at 6:15 pm, both on Sunday at the same venue.
